This is for my friend . Get better soon so we can all hang out, k? ]:/
So, she asked me if I could draw the 7 maidens from the Zelda game. She said other then this pixel screenshot there was never official art of them, so I could draw them as I wanted. She also showed me a pic of how someone else did them. It was nice, but I didn’t think the outfits fit the Zelda look. (I’ve always seen Zelda in like a LOTR, so the goirl would wear more gowns, not fancy ball room dresses like stuff.) Let me warn you, I am not at all good at making dresses, so it they look bad, forgive me. U.U
The first Zelda game I was ever introduced to was OoT over at my cousins. After that we got an SNES and I would play “A Link to the Past,” I always thought of the maidens being what the creators eventually made into the Sages in OoT. So I biased the design of these maidens off each of the sages.
From left to right: The first girl is based of the Gerudo. I gave her the traditional red hair, tanned skin and bright makeup. I thought about giving her a whiter dress, but I liked how Nabooru was for the most part set apart with her white clothing, so I gave her the usual purple. I gave her some of the big jewelry too.
Second is based of the Kokiri/forest look. I made her outfit fairly simple. I wanted her to be more natural-simpler looking.
Third is based off Rauru. Rauru always struck me as a scholarly type. The one with all the knowledge. Since he is one of the ancient Sages who knows what he was and what not. Just his appearance and what not made me thing of one who would be an aid to the king. So I gave her robes similar to him, thinking that her people would all be like that. Scholars knowing the history of Hyrule, aiding the Rulers…ect
Fourth is no one you’d know. Yeah, so for Zelda I went with her Twilight Princess look, cause I think that’s the best out of all her canon looks. Though had I not had this already drawn when I saw ‘s Zelda re-design, I probably would have wanted to go with that. ]XD;; Seriously people, if any of you Zelda fans are actually reading all this, go over and check out Croix22’s work. His art is excellent. He draws in the Windwaker style and really has it down. He also creates re-designs which are awesome to look and read how he came up with them.
Fifth is biased off Impa/shadow. I never liked Impa’s look in OoC(it’s probably cause I just don’t like woman looking that manly). But I though it would look ok basing the outfit off of hers.
Sixth is based off the Zora’s/Ruto. She was my favorite one to draw. I have her sleeves long trailing ruffles to kinda look like the Zora’s fins.
The final girl would be based off the Gorons. I made her simple too. Earth colors, simple dress. Not much to say.
So yea, there you have it. If you actually read all this I applaud you, and please tell me what you think. ]:3

It's a good manga (I haven't seen the anime yet), and it's quite recommended. Peach-Pit's awesome. The only manga of theirs I didn't like was Zombie-Loan. I'm not to hot for f-bombs.

Yes. It's easy to be born, grow old, and die, but this one thing people must keep in mind: How to live life can either be easy or challenging. Happiness or dissatisfaction will be the determining values in one's perception(s) of life...

beautiful. I can definitely see the inspiration from OoT, but that's a very good thing. Thanks for sharing!
